"When we travel, we experience a series of thoughts, sensations and perceptions, but the field of awareness in which these thoughts, sensations and perceptions move or, more accurately, of which they are a self-colouring, never goes anywhere. The common name for this field is ‘here and now’.

Filtered through thought, the now of this field seems to be a moment in time. Filtered through the prism of perception, the here of this field seems to be a place in space. But the now that seems to be a moment in time, and the here that seems to be a place in space, are windows onto eternity and infinity. The true now, the only now, is the eternal now. And the true here, the place in which experience takes place, is the dimensionless presence of awareness. It never goes anywhere.”
