VAJRAYANA INSTITUTE, SYDNEY (January 22, 23 & 24 2013)
OVERVIEW
The path to enlightenment can be condensed into three principal aspects:
1) renunciation - the determination to be free from samsara and attain liberation
2) bodhicitta - the aspiration to become fully enlightened in order to benefit all sentient beings
3) wisdom - the wisdom of emptiness realizing the nature of reality.
The text 'The Three Principal Aspects of the Path' by Lama Tsongkhapa outlines these three core elements of the path.
